I think it's from Pokemon, but the first time I heard it was while watching a Warrior Cats video about Graystripe and Silverstream, I was crying by the end. -_-

First time I heard it was on the radio at night. Somehow the first thing that popped into my mind was Balto's mother Aniu (from the cartoon, not the real Balto) singing to him. "When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears, when you scream I'd fight away all of your fears..."
Sigh.
Also, pretty much any song about a parent singing to his/her child about leaving. (The child leaving, not the parent.) My mom has this one song on a CD that goes along those line, it makes my eyes water every time I hear it...unfortunately, I do not know the title. Sorry.
I'm quite sure there's more, but that's all I can think of at the moment.
