Totally just noticed this thread. I kinda do hide KF. My brother knows about this site though. He knows I'm obsessed with Avatar/Kataang. But that's about it. I've kinda mentioned this to my roommates, like how we're kinda like a family here and she thought it was an MMORPG type thing, and I say that it's just a web forum and we're all so close that we've created "families" and she's like "Ooookay..."

I also had a bad experience with a Zutarian.....I threw a pie in her face at lunch.....anyway i am also making my mom watch all the episodes XD so far i'm getting her to cooperate pretty well |

Me: Yeah, it's one of my favorite shows.

Zutarian: What's your favorite pairing?
Me: I really like Aang and Katara.
Zutarian: (snotty tone of voice) Oh.
Then she started talking down to me like I was a moron. Just... ugh...

I'm kind of embarrassed about liking the show :-\... because I always think people would tease me if they figure out that I, a 17 year old boy, likes a show like Avatar... so I don't enter KF while I'm in school... but it's okay at home, because they already know, and they don't really mind it... and speaking of moms watching the show, I showed my mom the trailer for the movie, and she totally wants to see the movie!!! ;D

I'm still newish here, but my parents don't know I go on here, but I have a habit of switching tabs if they come in just so I dont have to explain what I'm on. I don't think they'd care though. And I always have to delete my history in advance for when my friends come cause I'm the one of the two only Avatards in our little group. It was really hard not to spaz when I saw The Last Airbender trailer on TV :/

..wat heh The last that my mother associated (me) with 'Avatar' she attacked me. But she does that with everything. So...yeah. I love being with my Dad though, whenever he comes I can just do WHATEVER with nothing bad happening in return. It's so awesome. I can totally go on KF with him but he's sworn to secrecy. |
